M.S. Anandan has written a story and screenplay of complete convenience. Chandru seems to know everything — and that too, without making much of an effort. This gives the audience the feeling that anything — repeat, anything — is possible for Chandru. Another drawback of the screenplay is that very obvious things about technology are explained as if they were unique and exclusively shown in this film for the first time. There is no romantic track, and that’s a minus point for viewers who expect a complete and wholesome drama. There is unnecessary preaching at times, which does not impress the audience. All in all, the story and screenplay do not impress much. M.S. Anandan’s dialogues are alright.

Vishal does a fine job as Chandru. He breathes fire in action and stunt scenes but should’ve performed better in scenes requiring him to act. Shraddha Srinath is good. Regina Cassandra is quite nice in the role of Leela. Srushti Dange lends decent support. Robo Shankar is adequate as Kumar. Nassar is good as Chandru’s father. Manobala, K.R. Vijaya and Ravikanth provide good support.

M.S. Anandan’s direction is fairly nice. His narration does not make the drama compelling enough but it is, nevertheless, alright. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is okay. Lyrics and choreography are functional. Background music ought to have been better. K.T. Balasubramaniyam’s cinematography is of a high order. Editing (Thiyagu) could’ve been sharper. Dubbing is appropriate.
