'Dasara' is one of the most highly anticipated Telugu films of the year, starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The film, directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, is a rustic village drama with elements of action and emotions. The film is all set to hit the theatres on March 30. Meanwhile, Dubai based film critic Umair Sandhu has given his first review of the film.

According to him, 'Dasara' is a paisa vasool mass entertainer. Nani has delivered a fantastic performance as usual, and his chemistry with Keerthy Suresh is a treat to watch on the big screen. Sandhu praised the film's fight sequences, which choreographed by Satish. He also applauded the beauty and performance of Keerthy. What caught our attention is that he compared Dasara with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa as it appeared like the sequel.

He wrote, ''First Review #Dasara: A Paisa Vasool Mass Entertainer! #Nani New Game in Pan India 🇮🇳 & He Stole the Show all the way. Award Worthy Performance by him. #KeerthySuresh looking BOMB in movie. Action Stunts are First Rate. Go for #Pushpa 2.0.''

Dasara’s story revolves around the lives of two people, Dharani and Vennela, played by Nani and Keerthy Suresh, respectively. The film takes the audience on a journey of their love story and the challenges they face in their lives. The film also features a talented supporting cast, including actors like Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab and Rajsekhar Aningi. The technical crew includes Santhosh Narayanan for music, Sathyan Sooryan for cinematography and Navin Nooli for editing.

The movie is a rural drama set in what appears to be the late 80s and early 90s and is set against the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines in Telangana.

The shooting for the upcoming action-drama movie officially wrapped earlier this month. The movie marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela and stars Keerthy Suresh and Nani.

Nani will be playing the role of Dharani and from the first look of the character which came out a while back that the movie may explore similar themes and aesthetics as Allu Arjun's Pushpa.

The movie marks the second collaboration between Nani and Keerthy Suresh, the pair previously shared the screen for the 2017 romantic comedy Nenu Local. The movie was directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina.
